The Mac menu bar

On the Mac, Colophon is a real Mac app with a native menu bar: File, Edit, and Find menus alongside the standard ones. Their items enable and disable to match what the document in front of you can actually do, so a command is never offered when it wouldn't work.

The shortcuts

File handles the document lifecycle — New Document (⌘N), Open… (⌘O), Save (⌘S), Close (⌘W), and Print… (⌘P). Edit carries Undo (⌘Z) and Redo (⇧⌘Z). Find covers Find (⌘F), Find Next (⌘G), Find Previous (⇧⌘G), and Replace… (⌥⌘F). With a content object selected in the editor, ⌘C and ⌘V copy and paste it.

On iPad

Attach a hardware keyboard to an iPad and the same shortcuts work there too, so a document you started on the Mac drives the same way on iPad.
