Spotlight

Every document you add is indexed into Spotlight — its title and its text — with a page-one thumbnail, so a system-wide search turns up your documents alongside everything else on the device. Tapping a result opens it straight in Colophon, at that document, rather than in Files.

Shortcuts and Siri

Three of Colophon's actions are available in the Shortcuts app and to Siri, without opening the app first. Ask my library answers a one-shot question from your whole library (where Apple Intelligence is available); Add to Colophon imports a PDF into your library; and Scan to PDF starts a scan, handing off into the app to use the camera.
