Number and resize pages

Bates numbering

Bates numbering stamps a visible sequential number onto every page — for paginating a set of documents consistently. Set a prefix, the starting number, how many digits to pad to, and which corner it sits in, with a live preview of how it'll look before you apply it to the whole document.

Resizing pages

Resize normalizes every page to a standard paper size — Letter, A4, and the rest — scaling each page's content to fit, with its aspect ratio preserved and the result centred. If a document has form fields, or carries an imported annotation it can't safely rescale, Colophon refuses the resize and tells you, rather than corrupting the page or dropping the annotation.
